Fresco made for the opening of the ceramic studio of Anne-Claire Servant, my partner of the project Autre Regard. The big anemones bloomed day after day on sand and lime plaster, with colors that I painted "a fresco".
When I paint with pigments on fresh plaster, I feel the same "watercolor" effect as my sketches. It is very satisfying to give the lightness of the petals and the transparency of the shadows and lights with this kind of fresco painting.
